Account Deletion Request - Go Dutch

How to Request Account Deletion:

  1. Open the Go Dutch app on your device
  2. Navigate to Settings (tap your profile icon, then Settings)
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your deletion request
  5. Your account will be deleted immediately

What Data is Deleted:

For Diner Accounts:

  • Your profile information (name, email, username, bio, location, birthday)
  • Your profile photo
  • Your favorites list
  • Your account credentials
  • Note: Your past dining history will be kept with a placeholder (anonymous) to maintain bill splitting records for other participants

For Restaurant Accounts:

  • Your complete restaurant profile (name, address, contact info, bio, cuisine type)
  • Your restaurant photos
  • All associated data including past history
  • Your subscription information
  • All account credentials

Data Retention:

  • Account deletion is immediate and permanent
  • No data is retained after account deletion (except anonymized dining history for diners as noted above)
  • We do not retain any personal information after account deletion
